Kayaking after Christmas has become somewhat of a tradition for the Welter-Kleinhans girls! It’s so warm here in Florida that we can’t help but want to soak up some sun during our time off over the holidays. So we loaded up our kayak and headed to Shingle Creek for a little adventuring.
Shawna and Jenna are long time friends that my sister and I have known since I was in third grade. We always have so much fun together. I think it’s so cool that we still have just as much fun together in our twenties as we did in our teens and in our grade school days. Having friends who have known you from the time you were in Elementary school all the way into adulthood is so rare and such a treasure.
I made sure to snap lots of photos from our kayaking excursion since it will be our last one for a while!
Speaking of which, my upcoming blog posts will all be based in East Asia! So strap on your seatbelt and get ready for some exciting content!!
Trenton and I only have two more days here in Florida. On January 1st we will be shipping out for a three year stint in East Asia!
Make sure share this post with a friend and subscribe by email to have my latest posts sent to your inbox. ♥
And I will be live streaming my journey to East Asia over on my Insta- so make sure to follow along! @courtneylivin

Haha not stupid! We are so used to seeing alligators that we are not scared of them! They normally don’t attack humans very often!

What an awesome time you had! My two best friends have been my best friends since grade eight. Sometimes old friends are the best friends or maybe there’s just too much blackmail material to not be friends🤣
