St. Augustine, Florida is a beautiful city! It’s full of so much history and charm- and delicious food! Trenton’s cousin got married here so we were able to spend a few nights being wined and dined surrounded by family- it was wonderful!
The first night we went to Harry’s seafood for the rehearsal dinner, and oh my word the food was so good! Especially the fried oreos I snapped a picture of. We walked around the town center after eating, where all the Christmas lights were hung in the trees!
The next day was the wedding. I got to spend the morning lounging around and went for a run with Trentons aunt. It was so nice to relax and not have to worry about work, school, etc. and my inlaws are just incredible.
The wedding was held in America’s oldest parish, and the reception was on a rooftop overlooking the bay. The couple getting married has the same “Livingston” last name as me and Trenton, so that was cool seeing all the favors and decorum with our name on it.
After a night of partying it up (or, rather, standing on the sidelines while everyone else danced ha) we spent the next day exporing the town. We went to the fort, walked around the shops, and got some amazing gillato.
I officially LOVE destination weddings! Have you ever been to a destination wedding? If so, I’d love to hear about it in the comments! Have a great week!
